Slow Dance Party # 3

We loved it so much the first two times, we brought it back for round 3! GirlTalk Events is again joining forces with Venus Envy , a local group called We Should Know Each Other and The Auburn Saloon to bring you this night of slow movement.

In a society that values multitasking and tireless productivity, sometimes we need to be reminded that slow is beautiful. Join us for a change of pace at Calgary’s Third Slow Dance Party! Every song is a slow song, so you can sway the night away in the arms of your partner, friends, and cute strangers. Keep track of your dance partners with a special Dance Card, and erase your memories of awkward high school dances with an evening of songs selected for maximum slowdancibility.

Feeling shy? For all the wallflowers, there will be Designated Dancers to help get you swaying, and Secret Mailboxes so you can drop a note to a slow-dancer that catches your eye. This is also a lovely night to just sit, chat with pals, and enjoy the music if dancing isn't your cup of tea!

The dancing starts at 7:30 pm at The Auburn Saloon. All proceeds are donated, the charity will be announced shortly!

Tickets are sold exclusively at the door and are $10 each, cash only (there is an ATM by the door as well)
